Some Holiday Cheer
After almost two months...I got a text from Ross. He was headed to his office Holiday Party and wanted to let me know of someone who was going to be there. Now, it's normal for him to be out of touch for some time..this was an especially long time between us talking or texting..but, with the holidays, everyone's running around, so I knew he was probably busy.As it turns out, he said he was also traveling recently so that kept him away. After a few texts he mentions that he wants to take me up on my offer from the last time we chatted and grab a bite for dinner one night. "Sure" I said.
It's probably been over a year since I've seen him.. But, Ross taking the initiative and asking me to go to dinner? This is not like him.

BLM, I think it is great. You have lots of history...friendship of that kind is important for both of you.
BLM, Take it and Run with it. you
need to catch him when you get the
opp. not too many chances with him, and you know you miss him.
What does he do to get off his Jollies in the meantime??? You must get more than PISSED!!!!!!!!!
Unburden yourself of any pique you might be carrying around based on his failure to pay as much attention to you as you might like over the past year or whatever it has been. He obviously cares about you, or he wouldn't have proposed the meeting. You should just go and be open to whatever he may want to say. The fundamental affection & friendship between you and Ross should not be corrupted by any selfish or jealous feelings.
